The Grand National festival kicks off with the opening ceremony and an exhilarating day of racing. Place your bets and soak up the atmosphere in the stands or watch the race unfold trackside. Day two is the fashion highlight. Ladies’ Day is open to everyone, so if you think your look is in the running, head to the Red Rum Garden and pose for a photo in front of the flower wall. The finalists are announced on the big screens across the festival and the winner is crowned on stage. Although we think the Style Award is the main event – of course – the big race on the final day is undoubtedly iconic. There will be a champion’s parade and a performance of the national anthem before the horses cross the starting line at 5.15pm.

On Ladies’ Day or ‘Fabulous Friday’, the focus shifts from the racecourse to the grandstands. And, with a brand new car to win, the style stakes are high.
