These fun activities for children require minimal resources and you’ll get a little bit of fresh air too. You can do these in the garden or on your walk for the day:
Go on a nature hunt and collect natural items in a bag or a basket. This can be a maths activity if you count them together or order the objects by size.
Make a nature collage by using the items you have collected and stick them to a piece of paper to create a picture or pattern.
Make stick men or a natural weaving loom.
Do an observational drawing of a flower or plant.
Go on a big hunt and search for bugs.
In one of our previous blog posts, we shared how to make pastel rainbow playdough – read more about how to make it and get creative!
Get ready for Easter at home with outfits to match the occasion. Pair cute yellow jackets and dresses with bunny and chick motifs, for ensembles they’ll want to wear all bank holiday weekend.
